That being said, I know that a number of you will be working from home, and you need to keep your kids busy, so I’ll be sharing some online resources that may be helpful. I don’t want to inundate you with too many, so here is an initial list of a few things that my family has enjoyed.

Click on a grade level to find the stories. Click on “Resources for Families” for lots more, including activity sheets and many online science books (these can also be set to read aloud).
Teach Your Monster to Read - this App teaches phonics and reading through a game format
Search “Comptines” to find compilations of easy French songs for young children. We have watched these a few times in class, so the children are familiar with some of the songs.
Apprendre à Lire Syllabique is an app that teaches early reading skills by looking at the sounds in French words.
Please tell your children that Mme Johnson and Mme Noftall say "Bonjour!", and that we're thinking of them.
