- Tomorrow is a PD Day (there is no school for the students).
- Photo retakes are on Tuesday, November 6th. Please send a note if you would like your child to have their school photo taken again.
- This Sunday our 2 minute Tiny Doc "Les papillons" is being shown as part of the 2018 Guelph Film Festival. Info here:

For those of you who can't make it on Sunday, I'll share the link to our "Tiny Doc" after it's been shown at the film festival. Unfortunately I won't be able to attend because of another commitment.
- Head lice seems to be making its way through our room. Please continue to check your child's head and let the school know if your child has lice.
- Scholastic book orders are due to Tuesday, November 13th.
Thank you for the apples. The students had lots of fun working together to make our apple crisp! They also enjoyed emptying and carving our class pumpkin. We estimated the number of seeds in our pumpkin. We first guessed before cutting into the pumpkin, and the numbers ranged from 5 to 100 million! Later, we looked at all the seeds and shared our estimates. We were astounded to see what a pile of 100 seeds looks like. Our new estimates were between 52 and 2000. How many would you estimate are here (top right hand photo)? The bottom photo gives you a hint.
N.B. Please limit the number of treats (chips, candies, chocolates) your child is bringing to school. Just 1 per day (or 2 if they're small). As well, suckers/lollipops aren't great as the kids don't usually have enough time to finish them before recess. Thanks for your help with this!
