Tuesday - Library day, Scholastic book orders due
Friday - Wear GREEN for our colour assembly (we're part of the "tribu vert"), in the pm
As you may know, we transformed our dramatic centre into a vet clinic. The students have been loving taking on different roles including being pet owners, receptionists, veterinarians, and animals!
- I felt a stretch in the side of my body. - I feel like doing my "happy dance". - I feel good.
We will be celebrating Hallowe'en on Wednesday, October 31st. Please SEND your child's costume to school in a clearly LABELLED bag. Please label the costume and any loose parts (we have had mix-ups in the past with matching costumes!).
Students will put on their costumes after first recess (11:10). During the middle part of the day the Kindergarten classes will participate in the dance-a-thon and we will then lead the costume parade. The students will then take off their costumes before eating and going outside for recess.
If the costume has many parts, please send in a pared down version so that there's less chance of losing bits and pieces. Children are not to wear masks or bring any weapon accessories (swords, lasers, etc.).
As well, we ask that you do not send any Hallowe'en treats to school. As a class we will be making apple crisp which we will eat on Hallowe'en. The students are invited to bring an apple next Monday or Tuesday to add to our yummy dessert.
If you have donations for the dance-a-thon, please send them to school by October 31st. You're welcome to join us for the dance-a-thon and/or parade. We will confirm the times, but approximately 12:00 - 12:30. Happy Hallowe'en!
