Some ideas include sharing:
- A skill or talent: singing a song, a karate/gymnastics/dance/sports move, whistling, snapping, speaking another language, playing an instrument, etc.
- A medal, trophy, certificate, ribbon or badge for something they've accomplished.
- Something they've made: piece of artwork, something they've built, created, or cooked (please check with us about ingredients if your child is bringing food to school).
For things that are difficult to share in person (e.g., hockey, swimming, bike riding, etc.) you could send us a photo or video that we can show the class. We look forward to learning more about the students and what makes them unique.
Thank you to Mme Noftall who was "l'ami du jour" yesterday. Last year, after a presentation at John McCrae, she became inspired to learn to play the cello. Yesterday was her first "performance" and the class enjoyed watching her play. Afterward, we compared the cello with a guitar and violin.
