The children have done a great job getting back into the routines at school. However, we are finding that the class is VERY loud. We've been reminding the students to use quieter voices when working and playing with their friends. As well, we're trying to work with groups in the hallway to reduce the number of students in the class and next week, we will split the class in half for some of the time, and have half the children outside and half inside. All of these strategies should help, but we'd appreciate your help at home. Please point out to your child if she/he is speaking in a loud voice. Thanks!
As well, please encourage your child to dress herself/himself when going outside. The more independent the children can be with their boots, mitts, hats and zippers, the easier it is for us to get all 28 of them outside!
