Tomorrow, Monday, May 6 - We will be welcoming the Kindergarten class from the Meezan School, a Muslim school at the other end of Water Street. As some of you know, last year we met with this class a couple of times. It was a wonderful opportunity to make new friends and share some of our learning, including singing songs that we know. Tomorrow they will come to spend the middle part of the day with us.
Tomorrow we'll be making fruit skewers / fruit platters to share with our guests. This is a last minute request, but if possible, please send a piece of fruit to school (1-2 apples, oranges, pears, some grapes or berries, pineapple, etc.). Thank you.
This week:
Monday - visit from Meezan class
Wednesday - Scholastic Book Orders due, Visit from Callum's baby sister
Thursday - Library Day (please return books), Mme Johnson attending a music PD session, school open house 5-6 (followed by performances in the gym by the band and some older students)
Friday - Jump Rope For Heart (please return envelopes on Friday if you have any cash/cheque donations.
The class has done an excellent job of welcoming their new classmate, Abrish. Bienvenue Abrish!
